The Central Florida area consists of several areas, the Space Coast, Daytona Beach, the Orlando Area and the Tampa/Clearwater area.  The counties are Orange, Osceola, Seminole, Lake, Brevard, Volusia, Hernando, Citrus, Polk and Sumter counties. Large cities include Orlando, Melbourne, Daytona Beach, Palm Bay, Kissimmee, Spring Hill, and Sanford. 

Central Florida is home to many high tech companies as well as many tourist related companies.  The Orlando area is known for Disney World, MGM Studios, Sea World and other family entertainment areas.  Some people say their are more hotel rooms in Orlando than there are people.  Other employers outside of the tourism business, consist of Lockheed Martin, Harris Corporations and United Space Alliance.
