Destination NEW YORK CITY
New York City can be one of the most difficult destinations in the
United States for relocating employees. Our relocation counselors and
vendor partners can ease your employee's stress.
If you are looking to rent or to purchase, New York City is much
different than the rest of the United States. There are many different forms of
ownership available to purchasers of Manhattan property. Those forms are
Cooperative, Condominium, Cond-op, and Townhouse (both single and multi-family).
And for the Renter there are four or more different types of leases available
depending on the type of property.
Types of leases:
- REBNY - Primarily used when renting in rental buildings
- Blumberg Form A101-Condominium Lease Agreement
- Blumberg Form P193-Sublease Agreement
- Blumberg Form A55- Lease Agreement
Landlord Lease requirements can be quite extensive and can require an annual
income equal to 40 times the monthly rent.
